Common questions

What NDIS support does Horizons provide?

We provide three support-worker services across Brisbane: daily personal activities (personal care), independent living skills, and social and community participation. We also support respite, also called Short Term Respite (formerly Short Term Accommodation). We are a non-registered NDIS provider supporting self-managed and plan-managed participants.

Which areas of Brisbane do you cover?

We support people and families right across Brisbane, from the inner city to the north, south, east and bayside suburbs. Our suburb pages are local guides, not a boundary, so if you are nearby and not listed, please still get in touch.

Can I use Horizons if my plan is self-managed or plan-managed?

Yes. As a non-registered NDIS provider we support self-managed and plan-managed participants. We are not the right fit for NDIA-managed funding, and we will be clear about that from the first conversation.

Will I get the same support worker each time?

Wherever we can, yes. Consistency is part of the support: we match you with a named worker who fits, so you are not re-explaining your routine to someone new each visit.

How do I get started?

Book a free chat or call 0450 780 086. A real person replies within one business day, learns what matters to you, and helps you work out the right support. No pressure and no obligation.

How much does support cost?

Support is delivered in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements, which set the maximum prices for supports; we agree our pricing with you before support starts, and your plan determines your funding. We never quote fixed figures here because NDIS pricing can change, and we are happy to talk through how support fits your plan.
